Hello,
I am planning a trip to Sawbill Mid June and wondering what the chances are of catching some walleye and how to best target them? I am bringing two young boys so portaging might not be in the cards this year to find a better lake.

Thanks!
Mike

Trolling at dawn and dusk would be my recommendation.

Leeches under a bobber. They’ll be shallow.

Agree with both fellas above. Try trolling in the morning and evenings. During the day, try minnows and leeches under a bobber. You'll find them... good luck!

The "when" will likely be more important than the where or how. Think before breakfast and after supper.
