I typically rent aluminum canoes on my Quetico trips. It is more comfortable for me to kneel and heard that it is difficult to kneel in a kevlar. Is this the case or am I misinformed?

Thanks.

You've been misinformed. Although there may be some variables (how and where you kneel, height of seats if you put your feet under them, how you support your upper body, etc.) that will influence which model of boat you'd choose.

Kevlar canoes typically have seats that sit lower than the seats in aluminum canoes, so if you have big feet, it can make it harder to get your feet under them and/or be lower than what you like to lean against.

Unfortunately, seat height is not a spec that is typically listed so you may have to contact the manufacturer or outfitter to get that information.
