Fished Clearwater a week ago hit most of the northern points and the eastern back bays. Fished hard all day and boated 6 smallies. Well that's the bad. Here's the good absolutely crushed smallies on Hungry Jack 3 mornings in a row. Fished the southern shoreline with moderate success. Then hit the reef that's marked and game freaking on . We anchored in the shallow portions and absolutely pounded smallies. We started around 6 a.m. Fished until approx 10 each morning and boated 50 per morning. My lady was blown away. Whopper Ploppers early. Then yellow super rooster tails never would have thought!! Yellow out performed white/Silver 4 to 1. Not mepps and I did catch fish
on flukes but yellow spinners were killing them. After my super roosters were destroyed i moved to small yellow bomber spinners. Best fishing I've experienced in a long time. The mosquitos are horrible . Gd luck to all. I'll be back in Sept. Myceliaman

Tough lake in the summer

Dang that’s unusual if you ask me. I have had 2 100 fish days on Clearwater. What were you using for a lure or bait?
