Planning a trip for Quetico starting Labor day weekend. We will be entering at Beaverhouse and exiting Nym after 6 nights. We are thinking of either Quetico, Cirrus, Kasakowog, McAlpine, Batchewaung, maybe a little bit of Pickerel, and then up and out thru Nym.

The other option would be further south, Quetico, and then up through Orianna, Jesse, Maria...Nym.

The third option would be Quetico, Jean, Lonely, Walter, Elizabeth, etc... We aren't looking to push to hard, and looking for the best option to include pretty lakes, some good fishing, and not very crowded.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would suggest the second option especially given the duration of your stay. Fewer and shorter portages and smaller bodies of water in a typically windy season. Also, more options for high-quality sites.
