I'm looking into getting a Majestic Hammock. I've heard that calf ridge is not an issue with this brand.

Does anyone have experience with them?

I have been using on a good bit of late. Very comfortable hammock and I have gotten to know Kory the one-man owner and builder of Majestics.
Here are some thought below..

I just home from a backpack trip with Kory from Majestic. Him and I met at the First Hang Con Europe this past April in Denmark. So I just slept in a Majestic for 2 nights and it is indeed a great laying hammock. A really interesting and well thought out clean rigging strap system. I love when a hammock builder puts their personality into their design. Kory is just not a fan of dangling strap as he is a rope rescue guy with his fire department. So clean rigging is part of him.
There is a lot going on in what looks to be a simple gathered end hammock. It is a bit wider and it was very comfortable on my left heel which can sometimes bother me just a bit in other gathered end hammocks. I've lived on those feet of mine for 66 years and I loved the little pocket that happened for my left heel. So nice~~
Very little edge digging in under knees sitting sideways. Very easy to adjust ridgeline or take off if wanted. Long whoopies but come in short as well. No continual loops. I'll be doing a video on it later as I explore it more. I love the 1.6 Hyper D fabric. Very comfortable. Majestic only does single layer hammocks.
More later.

Sorry, but I didn't see your post until the other day.
I did pull the trigger and get on the list for a hammock.

Talked to Kory this morning. Seems like a really nice guy! I gave him the colors, fabric, length, etc... I had in mind and should have the result relatively soon. I'll post a review at that time.

Y'all have GREAT HOLIDAYS!!
