My son bought this book recently and really enjoyed it. Then I read it and loved it as well. Beautifully written story that takes place on the Thelon River. While the characters and events are fictional, the places and descriptions are based in reality. It is written by a father-daughter team. The daughter did a Thelon River trip with a camp and you can tell from the descriptions of the river.
