We are heading in through Mudro Lake on a Monday mid-July with four canoes and 8 people. Can anyone provide insight into the parking situation for a canoe trailer and van?

I don’t think it should be a problem. You may wish to unload at the beginning of the portage trail, near the Picket-Murdo graphic in the photo. Then park in the upper level.

Huge parking lot. It gets tight but I personally have never seen it full. Others may have had a different experience. I would be willing to bet you will not have a problem. I've been at that EP thrice and haven't ever had an issue.

Years ago I parked in the upper lot and when I got done with my canoe trip I had two flat tires. Not sure if they were from nails when they tore down the Chainsaw Sisters building or something else.

I've gone in Mudro twice in the middle of June and both times there was plenty of parking. I highly doubt you'll have any issues as it's a very large lot.

This permit sells out for the entire summer and I have never heard a report of the parking lot filling up.

It’s a quiet lot.5 permits a day.Ive stealth camped solo in the bed of my truck the nite before entry there.Excellent nite.I watched otter pups play in Picket lake, grilled some burgers on my tailgate, drank a 6’er,smoked a doobie and drifted off to sleep while visions of Crooked lake danced thru my head!!!
