Hey everyone, just wondering what is best to use during that early summer period late May into June. Going to Pipestone Bay, looking at bringing a spinning rod ML to Med action, and a baitcaster Med to MedHeavy action.
As for baits, what is best around that time for smallie, the occasional walleye, and even lake trout (never caught one would be sick).
Thanks all, have a great day!

I have heard a crawler harness with night crawlers work well that time of year, but I have never been there at that time.
Take a variety, and let us know what works!

If you don't have time to do it right the first time, when are you going to have time to go back and fix it?

I bring two collapsible rods in a rod rube and two reels. I have a small plano tackle box for each species I plan to fish for. All of my tackle fits into a Duluth Pack Bow bag. This includes extra line, bobbers, filet knife, swivels, sinkers and anything else.
