I made the 2 hour drive to Canoecopia, my first time in several years - probably pre-Covid was last time at the event. I'm sure this is the first time that I didn't leave with a book - I've bought several 'how to' and guide books for Quetico, BWCA, etc. plus lots of true adventure style simply for pleasure. I'm almost positive it's where I got my copy of Canoeing with the Cree. I was extremely underwhelmed by the book area this year - oh well, things change, time marches on. Lots of other places to buy books. Anyone else notice that or able to comment on when they started scaling back? It seems to me that in the past Rutabaga supplied most of the books and this year it just seemed to be show presenters selling (Cliff Jacobsen, Kevin Callan, etc).
