Has anyone been here to camp or fish. This wilderness area is in Bayfield Co. Wisconsin just south of Hwy 2. It is about 6000 acres and has several fishing lakes (small) connected by portage trails. Access is via Chemaugon forest roads. I have wanted to fish this area for a while by never have had the time. Fishing mainly for bass and panfish. I would believe human traffic is light. This is not as well known as the Sylvania wilderness for example. Any shared thoughts would be appreciated. I am going here this summer, 2025.
