Just an FYI, I tried to book the train and did not find availability for the canoe for many dates in July. I had 4 dates I tried in July, 0 canoe baggage openings.

I booked beginning of August a couple of weeks ago. I took the 2nd canoe spot and only 1 was left. Only 3 canoes in baggage is definitely going to be more of an issue if you aren’t planning pretty far out.
