I usually start this thread a lot earlier, but because of that nasty 4 letter word, work, I have been away.
So here are some of the birds I've noticed here in NW Indiana.
Red Wing Blackbirds. Have been around for 6 weeks or so.
Sand Hill Cranes have already moved thru
Robins never left
White Crowned Sparrows, moving thru now
White Throat Sparrows, moving thru now
Red Headed Woodpeckers are active at the feeders as are Red Bellied Woodpeckers
Rose Breasted Grosbeaks are moving thru and active at the feeders
Gold Finches have their summer colors as do House Finches
I have the Hummingbird feeder out but no sightings yet

Yesterday here in southern Minnesota I heard the white-throated sparrow. I love when they migrate through!
The Wrens arrived the same day and are here to stay for the season.
I put out my nectar and jelly today and are waiting for the hummingbirds and Orioles.
Stay tuned…
