The REI annual spring sale with 20 percent is coming up soon, I think it begins May 14th. What are you thinking of getting? Last year I bought a new 20 degree down sleeping bag. This year I am thinking of getting some new lightweight nylon pants. I like the REI version. These have really shot up in price. Your thoughts.

I bought 2 pairs of the REI pants last year and I love them they are a bit warm so I don’t wear them if it’s hot out

I have one pair of the REI pants and really like them. I may get another pair. They are what I like to wear in the BW. I do not wear shorts there.

Pretty limited but did score a Torrent Rain Jacket for good price.

The spring sale was always one of my favs! Now, I buy nothing, really, but it is fun to see one of my daughters starting to accumulate her own gear now. Tis a great sale!
