Just scored a Ep 25 moose lake overnight motor permit.
Where does this allow me to go? I already had a Moose Prarie portage basswood day use motor permit. Called the lady at kawishiwi station. And she stated that permit will get me up into Basswood. Kind of confusing.

Previously you had a permit for entry "G", which is for motor day use only, i.e. no overnight camping. Now you have permit for entry 25, which is for paddling and motors with overnight camping. Both of those permits cover the same areas. The difference is day use versus overnight.

I'm good. Use day use permit on Saturday. Fish and move around looking for good camp site when i go back in on Monday for couple days of overnight permit. I'll be 7 weeks out from back surgery so im gonna need a fairly easy landing with my boat. Might even throw in a lightweight aluminum ladder for getting in and out of boat. Bahahaha
