Chainsaw sisters

Many people parked there going to Mudro lake-Fourtown and many stopped there to have a cold one.

While working behind their bar, Michele and Marlene, who grew up in Richfield, looked very much like the twins they are, and identical ones at that, with nearly the same interests. Which explains why they attended the same college, studied the same subjects, and in 1978 came north together, to Ely, to take jobs with the U.S. Forest Service.

Today, Marlene and Michele, age 69, live with their respective husbands a half block apart in Winton, Minn., population 165, a few miles from Ely.

Those two are super nice people. Michele was my neighbor for 5 years or so.

I could see it being a great sale item being sold along with Dorothy Moulter items.

Since they were recently in the news, someone should reach out to them and ask about that...I'd be just the guy to do it.

Go for it.
I did reach out to the local Ely web Facebook site and got positive vibes, but no responses. All would love seeing it but know one gets the process going.
Awesome item to sell at the Dorothy Moulter museum.

Late 80s. Had many beers there. Never had a generator burger. Great Gals moved to town, assimilated and became "locals". Yes, the good ole days. I still have a shirt I wear.
