Doordash just announced they are delivering to all sites in the BW. You're on your 6th night of a tough, windy, wet trip. What do you order?

Clearly I'm five days away from leaving for my trip and I can only refresh my weather app and check my gear so many times before I go nuts.

airmorse: "Pizza and beer. "

Sounds like the perfect answer. We might as well close posting on this thread because every post from here on might just be "What he said!" LOL

(It's not really closed. Answer away...)

Eh, I'm usually salted out by then, so I'd get a peanut butter malt from DQ.

If it’s hot, DQ Blizzard and a Mountain Dew…neither of which I usually buy.

I'd agree that the best answer is "pizza and a beer" but a very close second , and maybe necessary follow up is - any treat from DQ!

6th night in on a wet and windy trip? Probably something hot and spicy, like a lamb curry or pho with all the fixings. And top it off with a martini and a baklava or kataifi dessert.

I’m probably in the minority here, but I’m usually craving fresh veggies so badly after a week in the bush. I’d order up a giant Cobb salad with a Banh Mi sandwich and a cold “Premo” (Grain Belt Premium) from the tap at Insula. No dessert needed after that meal. Cold Beer in the BWCA is magical, I’ve only had it once, but it was quite possibly the best beer I’ve ever had. Nursed that beer hard.

Not DQ and Dew, but this what we had after my first Kruger Challenge. Mmm.

I'm right there with ya! I think I'd also be excited for some spicy Pad Thai!
