How are the narrows from EP 23 to Mudro Lake? Going in through Mudro in a couple weeks with a crew of 6. I've experienced both higher and lower waters through these narrows and definitely prefer the higher waters. Any comments from people who have paddled them this year would be appreciated.

Right now the water is low. You'll need to portage a little farther in order to "put in." And you'll probably have to pull through at two other spots in the narrows.

Have they cleaned up the "extra portage" there? I came out in September last year, and there was a huge tree down across the channel. We have to fully unload and go around. No way to pull thru.

I day tripped through there last weekend. I had my solo and couldn’t float through without bumping rocks.

The only obstacles to deal with right now is the low water levels.
