Hello,
Question about shuttle options. Later this summer we have a reservation to enter at EP16 (Moose River) and then exit 10ish days later at EP 23 (Mudro). We will be travelling with only one vehicle and have all our own gear. The plan would be to drop the canoes/gear at the EP first thing in the morning then drive the empty truck to the exit EP and get a shuttle back to the entry point.
Does anyone have recommendations for someone who offers a shuttle for a single person with no gear? I've reached out to a few outfitters but seeing we aren't renting any gear and only need the shuttle, they didn't seem too interested.
Thanks Jason

Looks like about 21 miles between entry points.
I’d reach out to all the outfitters in Ely and offer to prepay.
Do you plan to stay in a bunkhouse before or after the trip?
I’ve heard of people dropping off bikes at entry points in this situation.
I’ve got to think for the right price an outfitter would be willing to help out. They are going to have 2 to 3 hours of labor, gas and wear and tear to a vehicle into this. So it would be fairly expensive but only a nominal cost compared to the whole trip. Great route!

I did something similar with a fall trip and VNO helped me out. Basically, we put our packs and canoe in their vehicle and they followed me to my exit EP where we dropped off the car and I got in, then the dropped me and my partner off at our entry EP.
Maybe you just need to reframe how you're thinking about the shuttle, or maybe bring a bike, but that's a good distance between the two. If you're staying in a bunkhouse pre/post trip your outfitter would hopefully be willing to help. Have you tried Echo Trail Outfitters, who is located at Fenske Lake near Mudro?

Piragis shuttled me.
They drove me and my car to Crane Lake and took my car to Fall Lake where I exited, solo with all my own equipment.

May the rivers be crooked and winding, and your portages lonesome, leading to the most amazing view.

Thank you for all the suggestions everyone. This trip has been on radar for many years as it combines all of my favorite areas of the BW. The funny part is when I made the plans to do this route I never actually mapped out the distance between the two entry points and figured I'd just do the bike thing, but 22+ miles with some on being on dirt would be a haul.
I will touch base with some additional outfitters but I get that it's tough to pull a driver away when we aren't using any other services.
Finnboy, We enter on July 31st and are shooting to exit Aug 8 or the 9th
