Hello - my quetico loving son wants to take me on a challenging BWCA trip. Does anybody know if water is high enough for Frost River Route to be passable/fun? Dropping in Missing link on Saturday 8/16

My best guess is Yes. Hopefully someone that has been there recently will chime in. I was on Poplar Lake on the Gunflint Trail this past week staying at Rockwood with my family and water levels were more like early June, not early August. The week before that I was on Kawishiwi Lake with my 6 year old son and water levels were way high for the end of July. It was even higher than it's been any of the times I've been there in June.

Call Tuscarora Outfitters.
They will have an answer for you. I assume it's just fine!
