Nice grouse pic. I'm surprised the maps aren't fixed by now. And what makes it worse are the false start trails made by people trying to find the portage. Say hi to J and A next time you talk.

Nice report. Frustrating to have such hot weather that late in the season. We had lovely temps the week before which made for much better sleeping weather than you had. I traveled mostr of that area on one trip or another, but never have done the Muskeg portage. Thanks for a great write up.

Enjoyed your report. I was in the area at that time and yes, the days were warmer than hoped for. Your Warbonnet "Blackbird" sure looks a lot like my "Ridge Runner".
Just kidding. Always liked the blue colored tarp.

Yikes...I don't even know my own equipment! I had gone back and forth between the ridge running and blackbird and totally forgot which one I settled on. I need to go in a fix that now.
