I'm looking to make my own lightweight cot, similar to the Helinox Lite cot. If you have one, or a Thermarest Ultra-Lite cot, can you tell me what the outside diameter (OD) is for the side poles. I can save considerable weight by going as small OD as possible. But I'm pretty sure they already did that research and have chosen the correct size.

I circled the poles I'm referencing in the attached photo. I already know what to purchase for the "leg" poles.

Thermarest LuxuryLite
OD 0.490" (12.5mm)
Wall thickness 0.035" (0.9mm)

Helinox Cot Max:
OD 0.910" (23mm)
Wall Thickness 0.035" (0.9mm)
