Alps Ready Lite cot - feedback?

Looking for a cot to use for winter camping in my hot tent. Don't want any plastic connectors and the Alps Ready Lite seems to be the only cot out there that doesn't have plastic connectors/joints and still has a reasonable weight.

Anyone have experience with these?
