Lost a Gransford forest axe at or very near Pine site #754 during a January trip. It either got tromped into the snow or lef back in the woods 100 yards down shore to the West. Hoping to get up there for a quick search once McFarland opens up and before the woods thicken up

Initials are burned into the handle. It’s been on 30+ trips and I’d love to have it back!

Reported in BWCA Group on facebook: Found: set of keys (Jeep) on the campsite on Little Shell Lake on 5/9. DM me if they are yours, or they will be brought to the LaCroix District Ranger Station in Cook on Tues. 5/12.

We had an incident last night - managed to get all of our gear back except two paddles. There is a bending branches beaver tail paddle and a bending branches carbon fiber paddle. We believe that both shot down the rapids into the North Kawishwi from the rapids and portage area north of Lake One. We gave a really good search effort today and the two paddles are all that's missing. If you find them, we'd love to know! Thanks

LOST: Personal toiletry and medication bag at campsite #1564 on Pipestone Bay, Basswood Lake. This campsite is right at the entrance to Lewis's Narrows.

I inadvertently set my toiletry and medication bag aside somewhere in the campsite. If I remember correctly, I think I put it on the sitting logs around the campfire site. I think it then slipped down between the logs around the campsite. The bag is in a plastic gallon slider bag. The black bag is an old katadyn water filter bag, and has daily medications, an epipen, toothbrush, ibuprofen container, dental floss, etc..

I know someone that lost his mind a little when Arsenal lost to PSG.

Found four fishing poles and reels on south end of first portage going into Little Indian Sioux North #14. They were left at Ely ranger station. Hope they get reunited.

Found an Anker portable charger on the nice unburned island site on Minn (NW). You probably don't want it back as I'm not sure it works. May have been under the higher water. Just in case you're driving yourself nuts looking for it - I packed it out for you!

LOST- bottom half of Ugly Stik rod with Daiwa reel and yellow braided line. Somewhere on trek between Sag and Amoeber. Thanks

Hi BWCA members,

My group left all our rods (no reels), about 10, in a bundle in the campsite. They are all two piece rods, broken down and cinched together with two pink bungies. We were in Perent Lake from the hog creek entry point. We stayed in campsite 1002, the one on the point of the NW arm of the lake. If someone gets or finds them let me know or turn into the Tofte ranger station. Thanks.

Group member forgot a fly rod in a black case on campsite #22 Crooked lake. Would pay for its return TIA

Lost--- around 5-20-26 on entry point 30 for lake One I lost a Zebco rod and reel . It was a white and orange combo and it was new . We went back two days later and it was gone. A long shot I know but would be nice if someone here picked it up and saw this sono could get it back.

on 5/28/26 I found a Guidesman multi tool on the portage from Lake 4 into Hudson. If you lost this let me know and I can get it back to you.

We left a leech locker either at site 825 on Kelly Lake or more likely at the Baker Lake EP. My nephew was supposed to bring it along and we didn't realize it wasn't packed in the vehicle until we got home. Not valuable enough to bother with getting it back, but would be nice to know someone found it and can use it.

I have found leechlockers to be more of a pain then they are worth. Its easier to store the leeches in a nalgeen full of cool water. Keep it in shade and swap out the water about once a day. Leeches should be fine and its much easier to portage.

I have tried both and prefer the leech lockers. Much easier for me to get the leeches out, and I don't find them that much harder to portage. But to each their own.

Lost: Samsung S26 with a navy blue case with a red sticker with a deer head on the back. Lost somewhere between the end of the 1st portage and the end of the third portage on Moose River North on June 4th. Throwing a Hail Mary out there.

Found: Platypus Gravity Filter on 6/2/26 on one of the portages between Mountain and Moose.
