They are predicting 19.6 inches for Isabella Bring It ON-Snow

Well now it is 28 inches of snow for Finland.

Its Finland vs Isabella for the Gold I guess

My experience is that Finland usually always wins out, they are in a microclimate around Wolf Ridge.

And we smashed our record high today with 63 degrees. Felt like early April. From the looks of that forecast I guess maybe it is still winter after all.

They get the orographic affect by being on high terrain 800-1000 feet above Lake Superior. Same thing that occurs in mountains, but smaller scale...

Pretty good event.
Talking shore ice in the Apostles being ripped away with winds gusting to near 60mph. Would be really cool to see that happen and if it hits the MN shore.
Also - .1 to .25" of ice in the Duluth area -- with those winds - power outages possible.

One can see the shore ice here with scattered amounts just off shore the Apostles and the Keweenaw . It's going to get to blasted.
