Hello - I'm hoping to do a 4-5 day trip and would love someone else to do it with. My dates are flexible between Aug 5 - 17. I'm a healthy 57 year old who loves adventurous travel and spending time in nature. I have a canoe at home (Madison WI), but this will be my first time in the BWCA. I'm excited!

If you don't already have a permit, it may be tough to secure one for that time of year. I just looked at recreation.gov and there were not many to be had.

Wow - A BWCA trip with shc, that is like the ultimate invite. Now that is an offer you should not refuse. You will learn more about canoe tripping in a week than you could ever learn anywhere else in a lifetime. I’m jealous haha. Go for it!
