Ok, I don’t have much left for lakes in the Boundary Waters to fool anyone, so I’ll stretch out to the Superior National Forest. This lake falls just outside the boundary waters, but was once in consideration of being added; The talk never went anywhere. looking south

Agassa Lake:
1) it's outside the BWCA, but close enough that it could plausibly have been under consideration to be included
2) there's a portage with a boardwalk from Echo Trail down to the lake
3) Here's a map of where the portage ends that's on the northeast corner of the lake
4) If we use the last pic and look south from the end of the portage, we can match up to satellite pics of the far shoreline going southwest pretty consistently, before the shoreline then runs west
