We were up on Alice on 5/13/26 to 5/17/26. After record high flooding the water had receded below the 2022 level. We caught fish but not to the extent we usually do. The lake temps were still really cold. I think this week will be a breakout week for walleye. The rapids around the portage's were overflowing but all but one portage was at its normal place. Be careful with the winds. We stayed in one extra day on Hudson, at the campsite just off the Insula portage for safety.
