Looking at this entry point. Question I have is where does one park their vehicle?

Typically you park at the public access at the west end of Poplar Lake. There’s a fairly large lot very near the boat launch. If you’re outfitting with Rockwood you could park there, I think. It’s a bit closer to the actual entry to Lizz or Swamp. Love this area! There’s a lot you can do with any of the Poplar Lake entries.

We've entered at EP 47 and stayed in the bunkhouse at Rockwood the night before. Dinner five minutes away at The Trail Center. They have a parking area for your vehicle while you're on your trip. No prob. And showers when you come out! Carl and the boys will take good care of you.

I've done both. The public access is easy to find on Google maps. You can drop your gear at the bottom and park in the loop lot above. Poplar Lake public access

Have gone out from Poplar EP several times. Lot at the top is huge! Parked my truck and camper up there one year as we camped in GM afterwards. Was 3 or 4 other trucks with boat trailers too. Lots of room!

Staying at Rockwood bunkhouse this year and going out from there. Rented a canoe from them the year we went with the camper but their lot was not big enough for that set up, only the vehicle. Hence the parking at the Poplar boat landing/EP.

You can park at Rockwood for a nominal fee; at least you could in past years. Entry point is closer and your car is probably safer.
Get a burger at Poplar Haus.

I have used Rockwood several times. Bunked, parked, and launched from there. Great people, friendly and very helpful.

Several dinner options near buy, Trail Center, Popular Haus, and Hungry Jacks has darn good pizza.
