One of my favorite areas. There are some BIG fish in there, and some turtles who are well trained to find stringers- beware! The long portage (608) on the Northern side by Conchu lake is pretty neat- even just to drop canoes and walk. There's a falls, and some historic logging artifacts along the way- iron rungs in the rocks, etc.
You can make a full loop around the triangle, or just do out and back. It's very doable. the campsites on the North Arm are pretty nice, as are the 2 south of the 22 rod portage (1133 and 1134). The one tucked behind the island (1136) is a family favorite of ours- but we pick based on wind, bugs and availability.
Great area and have a great trip!
