Looking for fishing info in general on the north end of Sawbill. We paddled over this area from the north end of Sawbill Lake in June heading to EP 38
As we headed south I cold see several shallow areas that dropped off quickly.
I'm taking my 11 year old Grandson up there next year and thought with several camp sites near by this might be an area to fish.
Any info would be great Thank You

Sawbill is an average bass lake, and decent walleye lake. Would probably do well in the evening with bobber and leeches from shore at any of those sites.

My wife and I were able to catch a bunch of nice walleyes in the Java Creek area last summer. Midday even...
Good luck!

North end of Sawbill can be very productive. Just OK for bass, but I've done very well there on walleye. Just stay with traditional spots, current, saddles, windblown shoreline, and you should do just fine.

My mom, son, wife and I stayed at campsite 912 on the North East end from June 1st to June 4th. The fishing was really slow, with only a a couple small mouths and walleye at dusk. We didn't travel too far however, only around the big island just north and the small one south.
