For sure, I’ve only met Jackfish once. A get together at MNGreene’s house in 2005? Very welcoming and helpful. I had a legal issue in Canada about an unfulfilled purchase he recommended Argo to help me, but I had some friends in the area intervene and eventually recieved my product. Just the way he jumped in, un asked and tried to help…is helpful in itself. If ya know what I mean? I have communicated on the board and by email just like many others and continued to be helped.

In a nutshell, I contracted sepsis and, being in my situation with heart issues, they don’t mess around. I’m improving and hope to be home in a few days.

I have been keeping you, Pete, and your family in my prayers since this message first appeared and I am glad to know that things are looking up. Sepsis is no joke; have been through it twice with Spartan1 and thankfully both times he did recover. Take it easy and follow instructions to keep that heart safe.

No you don’t want to mess around with sepsis, that’ll kill ya. Been there, was in the hospital for 23 days was brought on by cancer. At one time I had 10 pumps giving me 12 different fluids into a pick line on my arm. Like every 15-20 minutes it seemed I got a new shot or pills. I was told by a surgeon I should play the lottery, lucky. Got out half alive then went thru chemo and beat cancer. All good now, amazing really now that I think about it.
Best of luck, keep smiling be nice to the nurses and enjoy some green jello for a day or two haha, you’re gonna be fine.

I'm kinda sensitive to this cuz I had it and a few of my good buddies died on their couch thinking they could tough it out is my best guess. We are all tough guys right. I knew I was hurtin and prob would have ended up the same way had I not called 911 and took an ambulance trip to the hospital where I stayed for 23 days. It goes bad you're done. It takes time and lotsa meds to get rid of that. Hang in there and get better bro!
