Does anyone bring a camp table? If yes, what do you bring

Yes, I bring a table. It is a Nemo Moonlander, which is way overkill and quite heavy. I would recommend something lighter like the Helinox Table One hard top. Speaking of hard top, IMO, that is the only way to go. I have tried several of the rod-and-cloth units, and didn't much care for them. They do save a good bit of weight, however.

I have a rod and cloth type table and I love it. It was an Amazon off-brand that I got for cheap and it does the job. It's pretty light and packs down to be about the size and weight of an extra chair, maybe a little longer though. I like having it for sitting under the tarp and playing cribbage, and it's also great when the campsite doesn't have a flat surface to set things on around the fire grate.

We used to use the blue barrel and a butt pad as a table but needed a replacement after we couldn't use the barrel anymore.

Both GSI Outdoors tables. Silver table stands 9-15” tall and black table stands 16-26” tall. I first used the silver table but now I like the taller black table because I don’t like to bend over much anymore.

I also have a bulky roll top table the size of a standard card table that is only suitable for car camping.

For the past couple of years I've been taking the Cascade Wild table. It's obviously pretty limited compared to the tables others have already mentioned but I find it to be pretty handy and at just over two ounces there isn't ever much reason to not bring it.

Ok, that is cool. One of those things I really wish I would have thought of. And now I have a project for my used campaign signs!

I have never used a portable table while remote camping but I enjoy equipment problem solving so while reading this post I considered 2 options.

One option is simply using the lid of a bear canister as a table. Another option would be attaching a backpack frame sheet or lightweight table top to the lid of a bear canister with a small piece of Velcro. ( Velcro should be small enough so as not to allow an animal a hold to carry the canister off. )

One of my favorite pieces of gear. If I’m solo tripping I leave it at home as it does weigh 10 ponds

With a group of 4 and a Coleman stove, we took a large 36x48 roll-up table and it was a huge help for food prep. The next year with only 3 of us and a JetBoil-friendly menu, we took a small 18x18 table. This year, we did as Tomcat suggested and used the BearVault as our "table" for the JetBoil. It actually fits perfectly and the friction between the lid and the JetBoil tripod is excellent. I don't think we would bring a table again unless we have a large enough group that we switch back to the Coleman stove.

When we have a decent sized group, we bring this along. We nicknamed it "Pierre" because one member thought it looked like a French waiter with the cloth toolbelt above the table. It basically has an oval cut out to fit against a tree, paracord to tie it tight around back and hold the front corners up. Shower rod rings to hang ditty bags from to keep camp stuff organized. Fits nicely in the back of a CCS pack and keeps gear from poking ya in the back.

I have a couple of these made by Alps that I got off of Steep & Cheap back in the day. I take one with on solo trips. Sturdy enough to both sit and stand on. It's pretty much a side table to your chair.

Took one for first time in June/July. My son got it and thought we should try it for our group of 6. Brand name is Wren, 3 lb 2 Oz, 27x18.5 set up and 16.5 tall. It accordians up and removed legs fold up nice. All fits into a double pouch bag. It was handy around camp but because of bag length I had to angle it across inside of pack. If dimensions were a touch smaller I'd like it more.
