Hi y’all! Just came back from Seagull Lake and spotted a lot of
poop that was in round balls! Wondering if anyone could ID it. There was a lot dead fish around too!

Outfitter said it was definitely a bear but I’ve seen black bear poop and it doesnt look the same. We were at campsite 469 if that helps.

I sure hope the outfitter was pulling your leg. If they actually thought that was bear poop I'm not sure I'd trust their overall level of wilderness knowledge.

(It's moose poop btw)

Yep, I think somebody’s having a little fun with you. Those are “moose plums”, “summer snowballs”, “giants boba”, “northwoods coffee beans”, “poopermints”, “voyageurs constellation”, “chocolate covered almonds”, etc.
