Photos from the lujenida to zenith portage, wine lake and Kelso lake 9/25 - 9/28. The maples appeared to be about peak colors.

Stunning photos, folks. I wish I could be up there.

Here’s a pic of fall foliage in my area. It’s red because it’s dangerous.

Amazing photos Portagerunner. I'm very jealous. Someday I need to plan a late fall canoe trip to enjoy the amazing colors in the north country.

Here's what fall looks like in my part of the world.

I love canoeing in the fall on a calm day and can see the reflection of the colors in the water. Awesome.

Yes, poison ivy in the foreground. Virginia Creeper is on the tree.

Nice leaf pictures.. While the season for Wild Brook Trout is closed Stocked Brook Trout Lakes are open all year. The Male Brook Trout get especially colorful in their fall colors and large males grow a hooked jaw like Salmon. I normally fish the MNR Stocked Brook Trout Lakes around the Thunder Bay, Ontario Area. The fishing can be quite good in the more remote stocked Lakes the DNR also Stocks Brook Trout along the Border Route Trail which look pretty nice: Topper, Gogebic, Vale and Gadwall Lake... Some Cold, Deep , Spring Fed Kettle Lakes with fresh water shrimp/crustations even produce Brook Trout with Red/Orange flesh just like Salmon.

The leaves have turned in a hurry I guess. I tried to use the alternative way to post pics not that long ago, since I didn't want it in my gallery because there was nothing to see compared to a year ago at that date.
Great to hear from you Brad!

Before running down to the wingnight they had a hint of turning at best. I took this picture Wednesday night as I knew I was leaving Thursday for the sugar beet harvest. And when I get home they will be gone…
I’m not a photographer like others and not a leaf arranger like linden… but I couldn’t help but take this shot.
