I live out west and fish mainly the streams and rivers of Utah and Idaho for Rainbow, Brown, and Cutthroat Trout. I've got an early to mid June trip to EP14 planned and am planning on bringing the fly rod and hoping for some smally action. Are there any streams that would hold a few Rainbow or Brook trout in the immediate region of EP14?

Nope...not that I know of anyway. Plan on just the smallmouth, or pike.

I have read there are rivers and lakes that hold trout (other than lake trout) though I have not heard of anyone giving locations. I was planning a May 2010 trip via EP 19 and was wondering the same. If I hear of anything, I will let you know.

There is also a small lake in the vicinity of the east end of Ensign that reportedly holds some very nice brookies. The lake is nearly impossible to access and would require bushwhacking to get into so it it rarely fished.
