Nice report, sounds like a great first trip!
Just one suggestion, turn the caps lock off.

Sounds like a great way to spend the 4th! Sawbill certainly is a beautiful lake, and I like how the EPs around there are more in the middle of nowhere vs. some of the EPs near Ely. It gives me more of a feeling of going to the wilderness that way for some reason.

Thanks for the report....you are now firmly hooked right? I'm hoping to camp at that site in September. Did you take any photos? If so...please post!

Just a suggestion - try not using all caps. Regular type is much easier to read.

I think you did an excellent first trip with the entire family. Base camp on a lake that's a relatively short distance from the EP so you don't turn off anyone with grueling portages and paddling. Day trips to sightsee and lots of relax time in camp. Perfect for a first timer.

Nice first trip. My first trip didn't go as well and it took 15 years to return. Now the trips get better every time that I go. This year I will make two trips to start a precedent.
