Took our 3 kids ages 8 months to 5 years old to island river. It was a GREAT trip! Our oldest caught a 30 inch Northern! Everyone had a blast, I'll post pics later

Wowee! Looks like SO MUCH fun! Where did you ever find that nice long sandy beach? Were the rock pictures the pictographs outside the BW on Island River? Are the kids and your spouse ready to do it again? What were the challenges and what was easier than expected?

we are all pros by now lol. hubby and I have been on over 40 bw trips. oldest daughter has done 9, middle daughter 8 and our youngest 2. We have a ton of trips planed for this coming summer

What were the challenges and what was easier than expected?

After we had our first we took her to the bw at 12 weeks old. I was very very cautious with her. As we have gone more we have ventured out more. Now we do much large trips with 3 kids then we did that fist year. So, I would say last summer we a TON easier than I expected because we brought friends. It's amazing how much easier it is when you have more than 2 adults! This summer we have some trips planed with friends and some just as a family. One ones with friends we will go further than when we are just a family.
