I have been following this family for some time. They are truly an inspiration. Amazing!

Oh. My. Word. Definitely an inspiration, and an amazing life for those lucky kiddos. That guy must be incredibly strong - two kids and a full backpack with gear for six on his back? Uff da. His photos are outstanding and I envy their lifestyle. WOW. Thanks for the link!

I know! That family makes what we do look like a walk in the park. They put all those kids in a kelty Gunerson 4. They just had a baby and that bring it along as well. They HIKE instead of canoe. Hike all over. Just amazing

I've read several of his trip reports and posts over on Backpacker.com forums. He really enjoys getting the kids out. Truly an inspiration to those with small children.

He has shared lots of info that I have used to get my kids into backpacking. Adding canoe camping to our family activities this year :)

Yup backpacker has a GREAT kids forum. I've been there for some time.
