I bought two of the Voyageur grills from the Purcell Trench Company prior to my Quetico trip this summer. This was my only "big" gear purchase for the trip and I highly recommend these grills to anyone who wants/needs to purchase a grill.
Purcell Trench Company
In the past, I have used old hibachi/BBQ grills, cheap to medium priced backcountry/camping grills, wire shelvings from old fridges and stoves, etc., you name it, but there is no comparison and I am 100% sure the Purcell grills will be the only grills I will ever use again. They are extremely lightweight, come with a nice cover, clean well enough for a grill used over a wood campfire and cool to the touch very, very quickly. They are so nice that I am may just buy a couple more and stash them away to give to my sons as gifts several years from now just in case the company goes out of business.

An old thread, but thought I'd add my endorsement.
My brother and I went to Quetico this year and decided to bring a light grill so that we might have our traditional steak dinner on night one. I chatted with Don over email and he helped me pick out the perfect grill for my needs. I got the Streamside Travelers Grill and couldn't be happier!
The grill is incredibly well-made, extremely light, very durable, and was so easy to slip into the Duluth pack. I had no trouble cleaning it and it performed beautifully.
Yes, it's expensive. $75 is a good chunk of change for a grill grate. But it comes with a personal touch and looks to last a long time - think heirloom quality. Get the light weight carry bag - it's a nice touch.

I purchased a Purcell “Travelers model” grill this year and broke it in on McAree lake in the Q last June. Used it to make 8 venison brats and the small grill worked fine. Purcell is all about quality, and I’m proud to own this American made product. It weighs nothing and takes no room.
