I was putting special green on my skis preparing for an urban jaunt when it occurred to me I could use my hair dryer to warm the wax on the skis to make application quicker and easier. It worked fantastically. I imagine this is not a new idea, but it was new to me.

I skied along the river parkway to Minnehaha Falls and back. There were partial tracks and a handful of other skiers.
