Anyone here interested in getting together for a day of skiing sometime this winter? I'm thinking Mille Lacs Kathio state park for it's great trails and it's somewhat central location in the state (it's around an hour for me from Brainerd and think it's also about an hour from the cities). Let me know if anyone's interested and we can start looking at some dates.

Just got home this evening- stuck in Cincinnati last night. Good to be home. Going to open my backyard trail tomorrow.

So, what do weekend days in January look like for everybody? Do you prefer a Saturday or a Sunday? (either works for me). I'm thinking that we could meet around 9 or 10, have a ski and then have a potluck lunch in the warming house after the ski. As it is a state park, there is no alcohol permitted (but have found that a beer in a travel mug seems to draw no scrutiny).

I am avail jan 8 or 22 either fri or sat.

Saturdays for me, both the 8th and 22nd will work. I will hold both until we have heard from others interested in going.

I'll commit to 1/8. I have tech rehearsals the weekend of 1/22. I'll see if my best buddy Carmen will come with. I can't say for sure this is going to work-- I am pretty much running on fumes all the time. But it will be nice if it does.

I'll give it a shot f I can make the car reliable by then- closing on a 4hr drive for me.

Ok- Saturday January 8th it is. Gather at the warming house (trail head) at 10am. I will post more info about the park when I get a chance. Can't wait to meet all of you and hit the trails!
