Hello,

I had a Coopers Hawk in the back today not too far away from the house feeding on a sparrow.

I usually see him or her about three or four times a week. You can always tell when one is around because all the other birds disappear.

I'll have to post some photos sometime.

We had daily visits from a Coopers Hawk checking out our feeders most of the summer and fall as well. We also had a Northern Shrike that had some good hunting last month. Have not seen either recently.

One morning about a month ago, the yard was full of birds. And then it wasn't.

Then I saw this guy.
