Came across some unique family camps in Minnesota that specialize in outdoor learning/skills.
Both offer weekend camps for around $325/family of 4.
Deep Portage
Audubon Center of the North Woods

Wolf Ridge ELC has family camps in the summers. Fantastic facility.

Yes, I looked at Wolf Ridge. Seems a little more costly, but what great opportunities.

I agree on price thing. I have spent a week there with school and believe camping there would be worth it if a family could afford it.
