Thanks for the report. Seems that there's not a lot mentioned on this board about coming in from the far northern parts of the Q. Glad to read about it.

Yeah it is hard to go back to the BWCAW once you do the Q. Probably hard to go to the Q once you hit Wabikimi or Woodland ;)

No walleye were caught. Mostly jig heads and powerbait were used. Truth be told I'm not a great fisherman. I tie on a leader, attach a jig head and plastic worm and cast. I catch fish and release them. Fishing in itself is a release for me. Or, another way to look at is that I left the walleye for you.
