Jeff- We hunt the New York Mills area. I didn't shoot this year because I got my trophy lasts year. I let the B's shoot. (my three daughters you may remember from Wingnight) Came home last night with 4. No trophies but memories that will last a lifetime.

Now the real work begins! I'll be cutting up meat for two days!

I saw a Fisher in the woods! My first ever. Watched him from my stand for about 5 minutes. Cool looking animal!

Outstanding! Congrats to them! I haven't seen a fisher yet. A local up there does trap on some of our land but I don't know how he has done.
Last weekend I watched 2 8-pointers and a 10 but couldn't get a shot the four times I saw them. Had one on the scope but he was on the wrong side of the fence, actually three of the four sightings were across the fence. I'm headed back up in about 30 minutes for three more days. Hopefully one pops over the fence!
We cut ours up as well. Long process huh! I am about five miles north of town. Are you north or south of Mills? I know there is some good deer country over there.
