Its basically a cup and pot and lid..but titanium pot, insulated steel cup and under $40.

Down from $80! Its a discontinued model. You will note under Q and A that someone confused it with the Quick Solo System.

Yellowcanoe your description is dead on. I ordered this kit because of the titanium pot (and the price). I got it in today, and I'm impressed with it. This kit is ideal for those who primarily rehydrate their meals, or take short trips. The kit is very similar to the Quick system 1, but this set weighs only 10 ounces.

Thanks. I really thought I posted the link correctly but clearly something or one got screwed up.

2 questions, is the titanium so thin, it burns food quickly, and is titanium a non-stick product? thanks

I don't know but most of my meals involve water. I guess I won't wander too far away while noodles etc cook.. I am not sure I would want a titanium fry pan.

I have that same pot, I have used it on 3 trips, and love it.
It has the ability to drain stuff because of the perforated lid holes.
It holds 1.3 liters, and is titanium. It cleans up easy, even though it is non-stick, I use a sponge with scrubber pad (scotchpad) on it and it cleans up good. If you control your heat, you will not have sticking problems.

I have an anodized aluminum version of this pot and like it. I don't like the cup. I use a xmug instead. My simmer lite and it's pump will fit inside... With th xmug.

A guy that I work with was talking at break Friday that he had an invite only after 7pm that night at Cabala’s for a customer appreciation night in Owatonna. He spends considerable more than me there. You know the type that gets the hard bound big catalog.

I printed off the web deal on this MSR titanium cook set and gave it to him. He called me Friday night and said that he got a good deal on it. He brought it in today along with the sales receipt of $35.

He also said that he had just bought a new shotgun two weeks ago and they pulled up his credit card receipt and gave him a $280 refund……worth the gas for the hour trip I guess.
