I am already planning a Quetico trip for June 2013. The trip will be for 7 days on the water.

I will have already been to Wolseley Lake and the loop form Bottle Portage through the Roland chain, Argo, Darky, William, Brent, Wicksteed, Minn, McAree..

So I am looking for a new Quetico destination for flyfishing for smallmouth, June topwater. Don't mind effort getting in and out to get away from the crowd, but prefer basecamping and then fishing hard.

Please give me some ideas for a route! Thanks.

Years ago, I had some clients of mine that swear that Pierna Lake had the best smallmouth fishing anywhere! Tough to get into (If I remember about a mile brush crash), but they said it was definately worth the trip.
