My daughter has outgrown her hiking boots and I would like to see them go to a good home instead of just dropping them at the Goodwill. I don't know anyone who camps and hikes with a child that would fit into them.
Hi-Tec Renegade boots - last year's model...Size 3.5, Maroon and grey. In great shape. She wore them on one canoe trip last summer and some other hiking but unfortunately her feet grew too fast and she can't wear them anymore.
Let me know if you're interested...

Update - I've posted this on the For Sale/Wanted forum as well to see if anyone there has a child who could wear the boots this season.
Otherwise I'll hand them off to someone who can grow in to them. We'll just need to figure out how to get them to you...Matti or Nola... I hate to choose... you both responded so quickly. Maybe your kids are different sizes and you can do a hand off too?
Also, I took my daughter to REI and had her try on boots this week. She's now wearing a kids size 6!!!! in the same brand. No wonder she couldn't cram her feet into her boots. Yikes. I need to guard my closet, she can wear my shoes now... And I am going to have to transition to buying adult sizes for her soon. More expensive of course.

quote BigAl2: "I put reply on "items for sale or wanted" also. Did not know this forum existed before now. I have a daughter with a grandaughter who might be interested. Are they still available ? I and daughter live in Twin Cities. "
I am glad you found this forum... it has some great info if you have kids.. or grandkids.. that are going to be joining in on canoe trips.
I still have the boots. So far no one fits in to them. If your granddaughter does, I'd love to pass them along. Otherwise I'll check in with Canoearoo, whose oldest seems to be the closest in size at this point.
My whole goal is to have them used this year or in the near future. Good gear for kids can be so expensive but at times it's almost more important that they have it than the adults on the trip.
