I a taking my five year old, hopefully, on two trips this year. At least one. I am looking for size 5/6 rain gear, twig paddle, and a decent sleeping bag. Would consider anything else that size that might be useful suck as bat up Keens or fleece sweaters. Anyone got anything they wanna get rid of?

Nothing to pass on but...

I like the looks of the LL Bean Kid's raingear and the price was decent. The other products I have bought have held up well. We will have our third in Sept so I don't worry about spending a little more because I know it will be well used when we are done with it.

I am a big fan of Tim Marshall's sleeping quilts for kids. I'll be purchasing a second one in a few weeks. Check out Enlightened Equipment. I couldn't bring myself to haul a 2-3 pound bag around for a toddler.

Have a great trip!

My youngest is still using her raingear, however we bought the jacket and pants from Campmor. Jacket is $24 and pants are $15 (Gale Peaks + Youth Cascade). I bought XS and she will get 3 years use out of them- she is a small 7 year old. Usually I just buy big and roll the waist or the wrist cuff.

I wish I could pass along my bags, I gave those to someone else on the forum last year. :(
