Hello, Would anyone be interested in a collaboration of sorts this year? I was thinking of having a common subject within the BWCA, such as the knarly cedar between campsite 1 and 2 on lake??? and then visiting this area sometime during 2012 to draw/paint/sculpt/whatever in our own style and interpretation. We could even have a sort of online gallery show or even put together a real show somewhere later this year. Does anyone have any ideas?

Sounds interesting to me! I am a quilter, and enjoy doing applique. So I can just picture a knarly cedar tree on a quilt.

Or maybe a theme like camp sites to eliminate the need to make specific paddling plans.

Campsites sounds good. Canoes, tents, woods, water, sky...

You should post this on the main thread as most don't visit this site and there are a lot of artists among us.
